Hello Guys! :) So, I’m Michelle Contarino and I just turned 19. I live in Chattanooga Tn. I am currently learning to be a nurse at Southern Adventist University which is about ten minutes away from my house. I chose to be a nurse because I like helping people out and my Dad is a doctor so medicine has always been a big part of our family’s life. I work about twenty hours a week at Pearle Vision as a sales associate and everything else. I’ve worked there for almost 4 years now and I love it! But sorry guys I’m not a very good salesperson because I just try to save people money :) haha.

 This is me :)

 I love playing sports! I played in high school but I just do intramurals in college. I love doing crazy things and going on new adventures! I love to laugh :) I don’t really have too many specific hobbies because I mostly just like to hang out with people! That could have to do with my big family. There are seven kids and I have a niece and a nephew. It gets crazy but I wouldn’t want it any other way. I have a boyfriend. We’ve been together for three and a half years and he’s my best friend. I’m gonna miss him while I’m gone but I really think God wants me on this trip! :) I go to a Baptist church where I help in the children’s department. I really love kids :) I help teach Sunday school and am in charge of the singing with the kids (but don’t expect me to be a singer. Cuz im not ;)). And when I don’t have to do clinicals for nursing school, I get to help the Sparkies in Awana on Wednesdays. :) Sometimes when my schedule allows it I also help tutor second graders at a local elementary school.

 My family! This is about a year and a half old. I have a nephew now. and my parents are missing. haha

I have been on 5 one week missions’ trips to El Salvador, Honduras, and Peru. :) I went to El Salvador three times and fell in love with the people there! They will always have a part of my heart! Ever since then, I have had a desire for a longer trip so I can develop more of a relationship with the locals. Anyway, I’m super excited to be going and I can’t wait to meet all of you :)
