Hi everybody!

My name is Kimberly, but I haven't heard that in a realllllly long time so Kim or Kimmie is fine with me...or whatever you'd prefer, I'm not picky! I live in Cleveland, Ohio when I'm not in school and am a sophomore at Bowling Green State University right now studying Deaf Education. This fall I will be transferring to Kent State to get my degree in Educational Interpreting which I am super pumped about! (Just a heads up, I like signing...a lot!) I'm fairly confident that God is calling me into some sort of ministry and thus far it looks like Deaf Ministry is where it's at. I am quite excited to start this new chapter of my life for His glory :)

I am currently an RA (Resident Advisor) in a freshmen building at BGSU and I love it so much! It has been quite the challenge and time commitment but I have learned so much and God has definitely made it a ministry opportunity. When my life isn't consumed by RA things and church, I hang out with my best friends, Melissa and Allie. I've known Melissa since 1st grade and somehow we ended up at the same university (but we could never live together!!) so it's been a great ride with her. Allie lived 3 doors from me last year and we instantly became best friends. She has been such a blessing in my life and leaving her this year will be one of the hardest things...but God will provide, as always!

Random facts about me:

• I love pigs! It started when I moved in 7th grade, but I've collected pig...things...ever since. Don't worry, it's not too bad ;)
• I can lick my elbow! It's not impossible!
• I make lots of puns and bad jokes...sorry in advance!!
• I'm really bad at thinking of random facts about myself! :)

This is my first out of the states mission trip, but last Spring Break I went with one of our campus ministries to Myrtle Beach. It was amazing and God has definitely been preparing my heart to go overseas...I can't wait!! But as anxious I am to experience the things God has in store for all of us in Kenya, I am so happy that the timing is all up to God. If it were up to me, I'd leave in 2 weeks and God knows I probably wouldn't be ready in some area of my heart :P

I could go on for a really long time but I will stop here and close by saying...I AM SO EXCITED :)
